We visited the Mersin Forest School with my students. We received information from the staff. We examined and observed nature. We learned to calculate the age of trees. We studied poisonous mushrooms. We heard the story of the sequoia tree. We learned about tree species. We learned about animal species. We extracted seeds from cones and planted them. We held competitions about tree species. At the end of the day, we illustrated what we did.

In our Ayse Ecevit Masal House trip, my students and I had an enjoyable journey into the magical world of fairy tales and our traditional culture. 📚

My students have experienced entertainment from the past to the present by playing traditional children's games, enriching their imagination with a fairy tale listening activity. During our visit to the Beykoz Glassblowing Workshop and Museum, students observed how glass is formed. They watched as plates and trivets they designed themselves from glass waste were fired in the kiln. They also observed that glass is a recyclable material.

Our students visited Garanti BBVA bank to gain knowledge about financial literacy. Bank employees explained the banking system and how to deposit and withdraw money in daily life. Our students had a valuable real-world experience.






We exhibited and promoted our project at the "Zero Waste Fair" organized by the Kadıköy District National Education Directorate.

We participated in the "ONEY Science Festival" event held in Ünye, with the aim of enabling students to observe scientific activities firsthand, develop their curiosity towards technology and science, learn by doing, and connect science with daily life. My students gained skills in observation, prediction, investigation, communication, collaboration, taking responsibility, following rules, self-expression, critical thinking, creativity, problem-solving, and technological literacy.

My students and I visited the Beykoz Glassblowing Workshop. At the workshop, we observed how glass is formed and from what materials. This topic was also related to our Science class, "States of Matter." We saw how silicon, a solid, melts and then transforms into glass. We shaped pieces from waste glass and took home plates we created using the fusion technique.



My students and I visited Garanti Bank. They learned about the transactions carried out at the bank. They learned by doing, taking a queue number, depositing and withdrawing money, and using safe deposit boxes. They gained experience.

The students' visit to the Tbilisi Botanical Garden turned out to be an important educational experience.

A Visit to museum of sciences and technology NOESIS in Thessaloniki Greece.Students explored the way technology developed over the years ,taking part in scientific experiments and understanding how life changed and improved due to technological progress.We did hands on activities and compared life before and after technological developments .We visited different sections (the transportation section ,the space section ,the audiovisual technology room and the the planetarium where we explored the solar system).The visit helped our students realise various aspects of our daily life that have been affected by technology and gained valuable learning experience by participating in various challenges-activities during their visit.


A local festival THETTALLOS" Our class participated in a local festival 'THETTALLOS'.Our 6th graders participated with enthusiasm.The aim of the students' festival was to showcase students' creative and innovative ideas .Our students did research on the Internet ,in old local books in the local library and in photoalbums dating back hundreds of years ago.The outcome of the collaborative task was a digital narration and documentary about our town where students had the opportunity to narrate our town's history using AI tools

The students visited a plant nursery. They looked at a variety of seedlings, studied how a plant develops, and what kind of soil it needs for growth and development. The children were very happy when they were able to plant plants with their own hands.

We visited the Zero Waste Center located in Ankara's National Garden and observed the work being done with recycled materials. We examined compost formation. We played garden games with waste materials. We learned that waste is not garbage.
